“Great oaks offers high moral standards & individualized learning. Each child is tested 3 times a year to promote academic growth. Over 70 kids (including mine) received the principal’s award this past year for excelling 2 years worth of growth in just 1 year. Great Oaks cares about your child, and their education. Great Oaks believes that every child has the potential to go to college and makes it a point to instill that value in your child. Great Oaks manages to keep the small town feel in our school. Great Oaks is a community. I am proud to have my kids at Great Oaks Academy.”

“My name is Annabelle Weathers and I have 3 daughters. The older 2 are currently enrolled in other schools and are pasta the age to attend Great Oaks. I was never very impressed with their level of education. Then a friend told me about a school that had very high standards in both moral conduct as well as education. When I first walked through the doors of Great Oaks I knew it was a fabulous school and a great place to learn. I saw clean classrooms, students who respected their classmates and teachers, a positive environment and a high level of expectations for both students and staff. I knew it would be a great fit for our family. Having endured the “Mom, I have nothing to wear” syndrome earlier at home, it was such a relief to have a dress code that was simple, easy to shop for and I have spent less money on clothing than ever before. My youngest is currently enrolled at Great Oaks and we have been so very happy to be with the school. I would recommend it to anyone! If I had known about this school before, my older 2 would have attended as well, no question about it!”
“Brandon struggled at his old school. He would wake up every morning and cry about going to school. I often had to keep him out of school due to severe stomach problems related to having to be at school. He seems not to catch on to what he was learning in his kindergarten classroom. Homework was a battle I dreaded each and every day. Today, after being at Great Oaks for a couple of months, he has not had a single absence. He enjoys school, and never wakes up with a tummy ache. He never cries about coming to school, in fact he gets upset if he thinks he may miss school. Homework is done as soon as he gets home, at his request, not mine. Thanks Great Oaks for eliminating that battle for me. His grades are soaring, and he loves to show what he has learned. Great Oaks has made Brandon into a new child. He has gone from a child who hated school to one who doesn’t want to be away from it.”

“My son, Alex, is a very sensitive and obedient child. He has had difficulties in previous years due to this. He has had bullies torture him and other problems, making his school experience a horrible one. When I found out about NHA, I believed it to be the solution to his nightmare. Alex has flourished this year, since starting at Great Oaks. He is excited about coming to school, loves being here, and does his homework eagerly. I love the uniform concept, eliminating the daily struggle about what he’s supposed to wear, he knows the drill. Alex and I love his teacher, Mrs. Smith. We’re looking forward to him having 6 wonderful years here and sending our daughter here. I wish we could’ve had this for him from the beginning; thank goodness he’s here now. I’m very proud of him!”

“My daughter’s name is Abigail Hamlin, she is nine years old. I recently placed her in Great Oaks Academy. Since Abigail has been at Great Oaks Academy, she has improved in everything, including having a different way of how she looks at life and school. She has achieved her first “A” on a spelling test and continues to do well. She made the Honor Roll, and came home with a medal for her achievement. She was so proud of herself for the first time in her school life, and so was I. We have always worked so hard together.
I found out about great Oaks Academy though a friend. There just happened to be an opening at the school, so I decided to take a chance and transfer my child; it was like a dream come true, this is like a breath of fresh air. When she came to Great Oaks, her self-esteem was almost broken. I know her little heart was. Now she is like a ray of light, happy sunshine, always smiling when school is mentioned. She is actually learning in school, it is no longer a guessing game on what she is supposed to be learning. I actually see it in her given homework and return assignments. Great Oaks Academy takes a different approach in teaching my child. “They Actually Do It”…by being organizes and detailed at what is to be done. Thank you, Ms. Mistretta and the other Great Oaks Academy staff members, for helping my daughter really learn and for not giving up on her, and for allowing her to feel like a fourth grader. From the bottom of our hearts we again say, Thank You.”
